The weather has been super hot and so has the fishing. The spanish mackerel bite has been nothing short of phenominal. We have been landing big numbers of good size fish on all the nearshore structure. The fish have been aggressive taking live baits on the surface. There have been some nice kings mixed in with the spanish. The big news is the Mahi bite has been pretty stellar with in 10 miles of the beach. We have had some pretty good numbers of mahi bites on live baits early in the morning.
The Redfish bite has been a little slow with the warmer water temps but the full moon tides will push new fish in the inlets. I expect fish to be hungry and taking topwaters readily. The flounder have been pretty consistent with some good keeper size fish around the inlet mouths and the nearshore structure.
The fishing is good so book your charter with us call Capt. Robert Hall at (910)330-6999 or email: hallemincharters@yahoo.com
